Dream Three: Action/Video for Violet

[It's been a while since Rapunzel has checked in with everyone, huh? She's finally made it Violet City and she's just as wide eyed and explorsive as ever. She's wearing a jacket with the colder weather, and she's forced tennis shoes on her feet, although she's not too happy about it.

Despite that, she's still spending as much time as possible outside. Her face is red with the chill but she's smiling as brightly as ever.]

Hi!

[She waves at the camera.]

I made it to Violet City! It's an amazing city! There's so much to see! It's incredible!

[She practly goes starry eyed for a moment.]

Oh! But I heard the first gym leader to earn badges to go home was in Violet City! But you have to train your pokemon, first! So, who wants to battle?

C'mon Sheldon, come outta there. We gotta battle, okay? Come on, there's some berries in it for ya if you do...

[at that a small yellow head pokes out of the shell, and then slowly legs follow. Douglas breathes a sigh of relief]

[Rapunzel gives a giggle, because awwww, that was so cute. However, she forces herself into seriousness. She turns to Pascal.]

Okay, Pascal! Attack!



[Pascal looks at her confused because... attack with what?]

[Sheldon looks just as confused as Pascal does. He blinks across the gap between them at the other Pokemon and cocks his head slightly]

[...Why aren't they attacking? She'll try again!]

Pascal! Attack!



[Nope, Pascal's just gonna sit there until she says a proper command.]

[Douglas gets down on his knees and pokes at Sheldon's shell, causing him to retreat once more into it]

Oh come on, little guy. We're gonna battle.

[Rapunzel is so confused right now. Why isn't this working? Her Pokemon seems to want to battle... so why isn't he?]

C'mon, Pascal! Attack!

[Douglas frowns a little at Sheldon and then glances back up at her]

Are they broken?

Come on, Sheldon! I thought this was what Pokemon did. Battles and stuff. C'mon, little guy.

[Oh, hey! That was an actual command! Her Teddyursa spurs into action and tackles Sheldon!]

[However, Rapunzel wasn't expecting that and is kind of alkdsfjfl--gasp!]

[Sheldon is still in his shell and the shell skids across the floor under Pascal. He pokes his head out and stares at the teddyursa on his back for a moment]

[Pascal looks up at Rapunzel for more commands, but Rapunzel just kind of stands there like, Oh my God, what is this even? She knew battling was fighting, but she didn't know battling was fighting.]
